The Talpa Community Center mission is to provide programs to help Talpa's diverse community face the ever-changing complexities of life today. We focus on economic opportunities for the community, continual learning experiences, and assistance with social services.
The Community Center is housed in the former Talpa Elementary School Building. It is recognized as a historical building and is rich in local culture.
The Center is located off HWY 518, along The Camino Real North about 8 miles south of Taos Plaza, Taos, NM
Our Current services include The Talpa Community Library, 2 Sewing Groups, 2 Ceramics Classes
A reception hall and kitchen are available for rent to the public.
The library is open Mon. - Fri. from 11 - 4 and Saturday 9-1. Computers with DSL Internet and WIFI are available for patron use.
